Our Story
WTCW began in the summer of 2020 in an effort to bring more attention, discussion, and scholarship to the Western Theater. With nearly 300 blog posts, several battlefield events per year, preservation fund raisers, and a new podcast, the Western Theater is on the minds of Civil War students more than ever. Bigger plans are in the works, and the team looks forward to leading the Western Theater charge!
